Come visit us in the Zittauer Mountains, and enjoy this charming cottage.

This well maintained and lovingly restored half-timbered cottage is since june 2007 in our possession and is located in central village location at the foot of the Lausche. We are Frank and Josée Mol, and we live in the Netherlands. For our guests we offer a lot of comfort, and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful, historic and romantic house.

This detached holiday house with garden for 2 to 6 people (and a small child) was built in 1879. The unique characteristic of a Umgebindehaus is that it is made partially of wood, the so-called ” Blockstübe” and partially of stone.

Special features
The tiled stove, warm to lean down to, in the living room and the sliding doors inside the livingroom-windows.

The steam train of Oybin to Jonsdorf.

The huge volcanic boulders and cliff in the forests of the Zittauer Mountains.

Holiday destination
The Zittauer Mountains are located right outside, almost at our frontdoor and also the large district town of Zittau is only a few minutes drive away. Dresden and Prague are 100 and 129 km from Waltersdorf. These special Umgebindehauser are found only in the border triangle of Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland.

Far from the hustle and bustle you can find peace, rest and relaxation.
